Be aware of Facebook Data Leak

By any chance if you are a member of any group in Facebook, your personal data might be inappropriately accessed by more than 100 app developers.

Later on, Facebook has announced that despite the changes, some a hundred app developers were able to eavesdrop on the group members’ information since April 2018.

Facebook hasn’t disclosed the names of these 100 app developers but says that these were “primarily social media management and video streaming apps.”

Facebook has also reached out to those developers and has asked them to delete any user data that they have retained post the changes in its Groups API. But still Facebook hasn’t disclosed the number of users impacted by this data leak.
